Annual Fundraiser for Arizona’s Diabetic Children

For the past 30 years, Whitneybell Perry Inc. has sponsored a Turkey Trot event on Thanksgiving Day.

To date, the event has raised more than $425,000 and every penny raised goes to benefit the Arizona Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association – the funds specifically used to send needy Arizona diabetic children to a specially equipped summer camp.

We start early Thanksgiving morning at 56h Street and Indian School Road and follow the Arizona Canal through the Biltmore and end at Maryland and 20th Street. The walk is a healthy five mile walk and provides great exercise in preparation for the rest of the days’ festivities.
